Privacy policy

Last updated 27 October 2026. Operated by Luxclean Gold Coast Pty Ltd (ABN 93 678 752 746).

Summary

This policy describes how QuantDoc works today. Items marked “Owner to confirm” must be completed by the business that operates QuantDoc before launch, and the policy should be reviewed by a qualified adviser.

  • We collect what we need to run your account and analyse the quotes you upload. We don’t sell personal information.
  • Your documents are private to your account. We don’t share them with suppliers or other customers, and we don’t train AI models on them.
  • Website analytics are opt-in. Nothing analytics-related loads until you allow it.
  • On paid plans and the 60-day trial, when the standard reader can't read a document well, its extracted text (or, for a scanned PDF, the PDF itself) is sent to Anthropic’s API to read it; follow-up questions you ask about a comparison send that comparison’s data. The free preview never sends anything to Anthropic.

Who we are

QuantDoc is operated by Luxclean Gold Coast Pty Ltd (ABN 93 678 752 746). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where they apply to us. Contact: support@quantdoc.online.

What we collect

  • Account information: your name and email address, and sign-in details handled by our authentication provider.
  • Documents you upload and the data extracted from them. Quotes can contain names, phone numbers and email addresses of supplier staff; we process these only as part of your comparison.
  • Billing information: subscription status and invoices. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by QuantDoc.
  • Usage and attribution: coarse information about how you found the site (such as the referring site or campaign tags), stored in your browser, and product events such as “comparison completed”. Anonymous website events are only sent with your analytics consent.
  • Technical logs: standard server logs used for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To provide the service (extracting, comparing and reporting on your quotes), to manage your subscription, to keep the service secure, to respond to you, and to understand and improve the product. We email you about your account and billing; we only send marketing email if you agree to it.

Service providers

  • Google Cloud / Firebase: hosting, authentication, database and file storage. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
  • Anthropic: on paid plans and the trial, the extracted text of a document the standard reader can't read well (or, for a scanned document, the PDF itself so its page images can be read) is sent to Anthropic’s API to read it, and a comparison’s data is sent when you ask a follow-up question about it. Never for the free preview.
  • Google Analytics: only if you allow analytics.
  • Email delivery provider: to send account and billing emails.

Some providers may store or process data outside Australia. Data hosting region: Data stored in Sydney, Australia (Google Cloud australia-southeast1); application servers in Singapore (asia-southeast1).

Cookies and analytics

We use browser storage that is strictly necessary to run the site: keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice, and first-party attribution (how you arrived). Analytics are opt-in: until you choose “Allow analytics”, no Google Analytics tag is loaded, no analytics cookies are set and no anonymous usage events are sent. If you later withdraw consent, we stop analytics and remove Google Analytics cookies from this site.

You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the site footer.

Retention, deletion and your rights

You can delete comparisons and their documents. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data, to access the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it, by contacting support@quantdoc.online. We keep billing records for as long as Australian tax law requires. When you delete your account, usage analytics and cost records are de-identified rather than deleted, and we keep a one-way hash of your email address (not the address itself) only to stop the free preview being claimed again. Backup retention period: [Owner to confirm: backup retention].

If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
