AI disclosure
QuantDoc’s extraction and comparison engine is deterministic code. Scanned pages are read by OCR software running on QuantDoc’s own servers, without AI. AI is used only for optional interpretation tasks, such as reading an unusual layout or a hard-to-read scan, or answering follow-up questions grounded in your comparison. AI is never used for the free preview, and every AI-read figure is flagged for review.
If AI processing is enabled, the extracted text of a document (or, for a scanned document, the PDF itself so its page images can be read) may be sent to Anthropic’s API so that a Claude model can interpret it. AI output is treated as interpretation of your document, not as a calculation: the money arithmetic is always done by the deterministic engine, and AI never looks up market prices.
QuantDoc does not train AI models on customer documents.
Document safety
Uploaded files are parsed on the server with size, page and time limits, and spreadsheets are checked for unreasonable expansion before they are opened. Documents are treated as data, never as instructions: if a quote contains text that looks like instructions aimed at software, QuantDoc ignores it, flags it for you and never passes it to an AI model.
Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. QuantDoc does not see or store your card number.
Analytics on this website are opt-in. Nothing analytics-related loads until you allow it, and you can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
What we don’t claim
QuantDoc is a young product. QuantDoc does not currently claim any independent security certification (such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2), and we won’t imply one. If your organisation needs a security questionnaire answered, please get in touch through the contact page.

Frequently asked questions
Can anyone else see my quotes?
No. Documents and results are stored privately and every request is checked on the server against your account before anything is returned. There are no public or shareable file URLs.
Does QuantDoc use AI on my documents?
On paid plans and the 60-day trial, when the standard reader can't read a document well, its extracted text (or, for a scanned document, the PDF itself so its page images can be read) is sent to Anthropic’s API so a Claude model can read it. Follow-up questions you ask send that comparison’s data. The free preview never uses AI. AI is never used for the arithmetic, and QuantDoc does not train models on customer documents.
Does QuantDoc send my quotes to suppliers or compare them with other customers’ prices?
No. QuantDoc does not share your documents, does not email suppliers on your behalf, and does not consult external pricing sources or other customers’ data.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete comparisons and their documents, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. Records we must keep by law, such as billing records, are retained only as long as required. See the privacy policy for details.
